Stay compliant with laws and avoid liability

New Jersey law suggests employers provide sexual harassment trainings to all employees annually and for all new hires. NJ employers are exposed to liability for the acts of their employees without such a training and an anti-sexual harassment policy under the so called "due care" standard.

Additionally, employees should be trained as to their right to receive equal pay because NJ recently passed the Diane B. Allen Equal Pay Act, which amends the Law against discrimination to combat pay disparities experienced by women in the workplace.
